注意事项
the origins of...表示“……的起源”，可以用the beginning of...结构代替。另外originate与 from 搭配组成的固定短语originate from，表示“源于……，来自……”。
02 the author can't ask everyone to love his book.
作者不能要求每个人都喜欢他的书。
语法提要
ask sb to do sth在句中的意思是“要求某人做某事”，可以用demand / require 替换，其结构与ask的结构一致。
03 the founder of horror fiction is gothic horror.
恐怖小说的鼻祖是哥特派恐怖小说。
词组释义 the founder of ... ……的鼻祖，……的缔造者
04 comic books are popular among children.
漫画书很受孩子们的欢迎。
语法提要

语法提要 reading good books 为动名词短语，在句子中充当主语。

注意事项
although 有“虽然，尽管”的意思，它可以与yet或still连用，但不能与but同时使用。although引导的是让步状语从句。
